Samsung, which has become a major player in the mobile industry, is getting more aggressive about getting its smartphones onto more popular networks.
It is introducing a new model with a faster 5G cellular network and a larger display for phones, and it is pushing its larger displays to other mobile devices as well.
Samsung has long tried to build a 4G network, which it says is “in the middle of a transformation” to become the most popular way of connecting phones and tablets to the internet.
The company is also making its phones more powerful and more reliable with the Galaxy Note 5 and its Galaxy S6 smartphone, which are powered by the same Snapdragon 810 processor.
Now, Samsung has announced that its new 5G Galaxy S5 smartphone will have a 4K display.
Samsung says that the Galaxy S 5 is a “premium” phone, and while it’s still “in development” as to how to use it, it’s the first phone that Samsung is making that has a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The 4:1 aspect ratio is one of the biggest selling points of smartphones.
Samsung is selling the Galaxy 5 as the Galaxy A5, which is also a 4.5-inch phone with a 4-inch display.
“As 4K screens become more popular and more widely adopted, consumers demand more of their smartphones. “
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is the first flagship smartphone to be equipped with a high-resolution 4K screen,” Samsung said in a press release.
“As 4K screens become more popular and more widely adopted, consumers demand more of their smartphones.
And the Galaxy Series 5 will deliver a more expansive screen and premium experience with more vivid colors, more dynamic lighting, and more responsive features.”
Samsung’s 5G phones will also be equipped to support 4K video streaming and 4K audio streaming, which means that they will support streaming 4K content to 4K TVs.
Samsung said that it’s launching a number of 4K phones later this year, including the Galaxy J5, Galaxy J6, Galaxy S7, Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy A9, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy Beta, Galaxy Elite, and Galaxy Note 4.
The 5G model of Samsung phones is also expected to support streaming of HD video.
Samsung will make the phones available in two colors: white and gold.
Samsung also said that the phones will support LTE, which should make them compatible with most wireless data plans.
Samsung plans to launch a number in the next year, but that it will start shipping phones in the second half of next year.
The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S8 phones are also expected.
